Discuss with your doctor the possibility of stopping treatment and implementing a different management strategy if, for example, the side effects of Prolia treatment make your daily life difficult.

"Prolia is taken once every 6 months. The optimal total duration of anti-resorptive treatment for osteoporosis has not been established. The need for continued treatment should be assessed periodically based on the benefit/risk balance of individual patients, especially after 5 or more years of use."
