Can I use Izovag to treat an external infection? I told the pharmacist that I have an external infection and he prescribed it to me, but in the leaflet it says that it is only used vaginally.

Izovag is intended for vaginal use.
"It is recommended to administer the cream once a day for 7 consecutive days.
The cream is inserted into the vagina as deep as possible. To apply the cream, the applicator included in the package is used.
It is recommended to apply a vaginal cream at night, before bedtime.
It is best to apply the cream lying down.
Do not continue treatment during menstruation."
The manufacturer of the drug recommends using Izovag cream only vaginally and using other preparations in case of external infection.
