Good morning. Today I dripped sea salt on my nose and when I inhaled air, my nose started to bleed. I've been sick with the flu for a week now and my nose is blocked. In this case, can I use Nasivin Nasal Drop to unlock it? I've been using the drops for a few days because the flu blocked my nose. I have practically no runny nose. I try to keep 8 hour intervals between doses. Thank you for your reply.

Yes, you can use Nasivin on an ad hoc basis if the nose is severely blocked, but with caution. Bleeding from sea salt can result from irritated and dry mucous membranes.
Be sure not to use Nasivin drops for more than 3-5 days, as prolonged use will increase dryness and bleeding.
If the bleeding recurs, it is better to give up Nasivin and moisturize the nose (e.g. Rinopantein). Oral medications with pseudoephedrine that will not irritate the nasal mucosa, such as Sudafed, can be used for a stuffy nose.
