Tribux (trimebutin) is usually used for a short period of time, usually for a few days to several weeks, depending on the severity of the symptoms of bowel disorders. The drug can be used longer, but you should not prolong or repeat the treatment without consulting your doctor, especially if the symptoms recur or persist.
