Can I take Urosept before the colonoscopy and will this medicine interfere with the examination?

Hello. When I go for a colonoscopy, can I take Urosept tablets earlier, because I'm starting to have problems with my bladder, and I don't know if it interferes with the examination.

Yes, you can. Urosept does not affect the course or quality of the colonoscopy, so it can be safely used before the examination.

The drug acts mainly on the urinary tract and does not disturb the preparation of the intestines. However, if the symptoms of the bladder worsen or you experience pain, fever or burning, it is worth considering a medical consultation, as antibacterial treatment may be needed instead of the herbal preparation itself.
