Good morning. I'm taking the drug for the first time, and I took the dose 5 days ago. Today the morning burns in my stomach. I'll add that I have reflux or maybe the drug irritated my stomach and that's why I burn.

Wegovy can cause stomach pain and worsening of reflux - especially at the beginning of use. One of the mechanisms of action of the drug is the delay in gastric emptying, so in the event of ailments, it is necessary to follow dietary recommendations: small, easily digestible meals, avoiding fatty and fried foods, avoiding spicy dishes and large portions. It is worth eating more often, but with small volumes. You can use preparations that soothe stomach irritation, e.g. Neobianacid lozenges. If the problem persists or worsens after the use of subsequent doses of Vegova, it is advisable to consult the doctor conducting the treatment.
