Good evening
I started wigovy a month ago, yesterday I increased the dose from 0.25 to 0.50, in the first three weeks I noticed a significant decrease in the sense of hunger, I reached satiety much earlier. To date, I feel that my body has gotten used to it and I am still hungry more frequently during the day.
I'm worried that the drug won't work!

Some patients see a faster effect of Wegovy in the initial treatment period. Semaglutide - the active substance contained in the drug - affects the regulation of appetite and slows down the emptying of the stomach, thanks to which patients feel hunger attacks less often. I encourage you to continue the treatment under the supervision of a doctor (the target dose is 2.4 mg, so the whole process will take several weeks). It is worth remembering that the use of Wegovy should be combined with increased physical activity and a reduction diet with an adequate protein content.
