Hello. I'm on my 5th day of giving up alcohol. Plenty of water, vitamin C complex. group B, potassium, magnesium. And relanium. I started with 6x5 mg. Day by day I was reducing the dose. 5 days I took 5mg. If I take 2mg tomorrow, will there be any side effects when I stop taking it? The drug was left at home after I bought it on prescription in case of such actions. Please answer how possible. Best regards

Taking Relanium (diazepam) at a decreasing dose is to avoid withdrawal symptoms that can occur when the drug is stopped suddenly.
A dose of 2 mg after a few days of reducing the dose is usually safe, but symptoms such as headaches, anxiety, irritability, and in more severe cases, tremors, sleep disturbances or muscle tension may appear.
It is important that withdrawal is done gradually under the supervision of a doctor and not on its own, as a sudden reduction in dose or interruption can cause unpleasant and potentially dangerous side effects. If any disturbing symptoms appear, you should consult a doctor.
