How long does it take for auroxetine to work? My son takes a 23rd day dose of 18 mg. The first 2 weeks were a nightmare. Currently, there is no appetite.

And how does the child function on this drug?

It may take several weeks from the start of treatment before there is a clear improvement in the patient's condition. Attention should be paid to side effects that may appear at the beginning of the treatment. The severity of side effects may be an indication for a change in the method of treatment.
Atomoxetine (Auroxetin) may cause eating disorders, especially in the initial stage of treatment. Usually, during long-term use of the drug, the situation improves spontaneously
Important information about using Auroxetyn:
"In clinical trials, hostility (particularly aggression, rebellious behaviour and anger) was observed in children, adolescents and adults treated with atomoxetine. Patients should be carefully monitored for or increased aggressive behaviour, hostility or emotional instability. Serious cases involving children and adolescents have been reported, including reports of physical assault or threats and thoughts of harming others. Families and carers of children and adolescents treated with atomoxetine should be advised to notify a healthcare professional immediately if they notice significant changes in mood or behavioural patterns, particularly after initiation of treatment or dose adjustment. Physicians should evaluate the need for dose adjustment or discontinuation of treatment in patients who have behavioral changes."
