Is the preservative in Lacrimal Natura drops harmful to the eye?

Is the preservative in Lacrimal Natura drops harmful to the eye? I don't understand the production of a drug that can potentially harm the eyes... Won't ad hoc use damage the eye tissues?

Lacrimal Natura is not harmful to the eye. According to the manufacturer's recommendation, Lacrimal Natura drops should be used up to 4 times a day for 28 days from opening the bottle (the preservative contained in the drops ensures the sterility of the solution for 4 weeks). If you are concerned about using drops containing preservatives, you can choose a preparation without preservatives, e.g. Hylo-Comod, Hylo-Care, Hyal Drop, Hyabak. These drops are closed in special packages containing filters and therefore do not need to be additionally maintained.
