It is normal that the effect is not yet clear at first.
Tremors can result both from withdrawal from levetiracetam and from the fact that lamotrigine takes time to take full effect — usually several weeks, or even up to 6-8 weeks with gradual dose increases.
If the symptoms are very troublesome or intensify, it is worth informing the attending physician urgently, because sometimes it is necessary to adjust the dosage or additional drug support. Do not change doses or stop therapy on your own, as this may worsen symptoms or trigger seizures.
