The doctor spreads his hands, he can't help me. Lamotrigine, which worked effectively, now I have relapses on it, despite a higher dose of lavericetam, I have to stop. A feeling of hot in the head, throbbing, dizziness, tearfulness. For a year now, the symptoms have been unbearable... maybe some wise advice on what to do.. I don't see the effect. In addition, I'm pregnant, everything is quite complicated, I would like to feel good by now

As a pharmacist, I recommend caution in this situation – during pregnancy, any antiepileptic drug requires close consultation with a neurologist and gynecologist.
Do not stop or change the doses of lamotrigine on your own, because sudden changes can increase the risk of seizures, which is dangerous for you and your baby. Symptoms such as throbbing, dizziness, and excessive tearfulness may indicate the need for medication evaluation, possible dosage adjustment, or additional supportive therapy. It is important to make an appointment with your pregnant neurologist immediately and describe any symptoms you may be present, and keep a diary of your seizures and symptoms in between.
If you are not able to make a face-to-face visit, I attach a link to the online teleconsultation:
