The doctor spreads his hands, he can't help me. Lamotrigine, which worked effectively, now I have relapses on it, despite a higher dose of lavericetam, I have to stop. As a pharmacist, I recommend caution in this situation – during pregnancy, any antiepileptic drug requires close consultation with a neurologist and gynecologist.
Do not stop or change the doses of lamotrigine on your own, because sudden changes can increase the risk of seizures, which is dangerous for you and your baby. Symptoms such as throbbing, dizziness, and excessive tearfulness may indicate the need for medication evaluation, possible dosage adjustment, or additional supportive therapy. It is important to make an appointment with your pregnant neurologist immediately and describe any symptoms you may be present, and keep a diary of your seizures and symptoms in between.
