Hello, I have a prescription for Lorafen 2.5 mg 25 tablets. I wanted to order the drug from wholesale online, but I saw that there is a cheaper drug Lorazepam TZF 2.5 mg 28 tablets. I know that there is a rule of +/- 10%. In this case, it would come out that 2.5 tablets more could be spent, i.e. 27.5 tablets. Will this half be rounded to 28 tablets and I could take Lorazepam TZF 28 tabl. instead of Lorafen 25 tabl.? Best regards and thank you in advance for your answer.

It will not be possible to dispense Lorazepam TZF 2.5 mg (28 tablets) instead of the prescribed Lorafen 2.5 mg (25 tablets) - and not only because the difference in the number of tablets exceeds the permissible ±10%, but above all because lorazepam is a psychotropic drug from the P list (group IV-P).
In the case of such drugs, special rules apply - the prescription must clearly specify the total amount of the active substance. In such a situation, the pharmacist cannot dispense more substances than prescribed, regardless of the packaging options.
