Any medicine can cause side effects, but not every patient will experience them. The main goal of treatment for lichen planus is to reduce inflammation and relieve symptoms, and the first-line drug is topical corticosteroids (such an active substance is contained in Beloderma). The description indicates the recommendation to use Beloderm cream outside the manufacturer's indications (i.e. in a different way than it would result from the summary of product characteristics). I encourage you to consult your doubts directly with the doctor who prescribed the treatment.
