It may be recommended for use in e.g. lymphoedema. Lymphedema and lipoedema, however, are completely different. The cause of lymphedema is a disorder in the outflow of lymphatic fluid from tissues, and lipid fluid - the accumulation of adipose tissue. Lipoedema is not actually "edema", it is an excessive increase in adipose tissue, mainly in the legs (it always affects both limbs).
