To @Magdalena:
A pharmacist filling a prescription in accordance with the applicable law is not entitled to supplement the S (senior) entitlement on the prescription. The S licence can only be entered on the prescription by the doctor issuing it .
Regarding the prescription for Librexa, since it was written at a discount and the prescription showed the S entitlement, you received the drug free of charge. If this S licence had not been there, you would have paid PLN 9.60.
Thank you for the explanation, the drug was actually purchased on 26.03 (prescription issued from the hospital clinic, so with a contract with the National Health Fund) but isn't the senior's entitlement simply due to age? (70 years) And yet the pharmacy gives the patient's PESEL number? Today we bought Librexe, there is also an R on the prescription for payment and we received it for free

The fee for Firmagon in the dose of 120 mg with the R (lump sum) payment, in accordance with the reimbursement list in force from 1 January to 31 March this year, was PLN 317.10. If the doctor had written the senior entitlement on the prescription, the drug would have been free of charge for the patient. Since you paid for the medicine, the said entitlement was most likely not entered on the prescription. According to the current reimbursement list, effective from 1 April this year, the payment for the drug with the R payment is PLN 9.48, and if the senior physician enters the license on the prescription, the drug is free of charge for the patient.
I do not know when exactly you filled this prescription, or which specific doctor you visited (privately or on the National Health Fund). Before 14 February, doctors who did not have a contract with the National Health Fund could not issue medicines with the S (senior) and DZ (child) licences. However, this has changed since February 14 this year.
