Good morning I read that Prolia injectable for osteoporosis and vertebral fractures contains Chinese hamster ovary cells and I wonder if it can induce pregnancy even if you have already been in menopause for years. Thank you

Prolia contains denosumab, which is a human monoclonal antibody made from mammalian (Chinese hamster) cell lines using recombinant DNA technology. This does not mean that the preparation contains hamster ovary cells, but that they were used in the production of the active substance of the drug.
There is no physiological possibility of getting pregnant only as a result of taking preparations whose active substances have been produced with the help of cell lines derived from the ovaries of animals.
