Zofenil (zofenopril), is a drug used mainly to treat high blood pressure and acute heart attack. There is no evidence that Zofenil causes weight loss; Its side effects include fatigue, nausea, dizziness and less common skin reactions, but these do not indicate an effect on body weight.
However, weight loss may result from other causes, such as metabolic changes, underlying diseases (e.g. hyperthyroidism), or side effects of the drug, e.g. effects on appetite or the gastrointestinal tract. It is worth consulting a doctor to assess possible causes and possibly adjust the therapy.
