Hello.
I was taking Egidon 90 MG for degenerative pain of the cervical spine, the doctor prescribed it for 28 days, can you have stomach problems after this drug? I don't take the drug anymore, but for 2 weeks. I have heaviness on my stomach not only after eating but also drinking, could this drug damage the bacterial flora ?
Best regards.

Egidone (90 mg), used to treat osteoarthritis pain, may have some side effects, including effects on the digestive system. Drugs of this type, especially from the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), can irritate the gastric mucosa, which can lead to ailments such as a feeling of heaviness or indigestion.
If these symptoms persist even after the drug has been discontinued, there is a possibility that there has been a disturbance of the bacterial flora or irritation of the gastrointestinal tract. It is worth consulting a doctor to assess the situation and consider supportive therapy, such as probiotics, or endoscopic examination.
