In order to maintain the effectiveness, the manufacturer recommends the following dosage of the drug:

"The recommended dose is 60 mg of denosumab as a single subcutaneous injection once every 6 months in the thigh, abdomen or arm."

The interval between injections should not be lengthened or shortened unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
