Good morning.
My daughter was given amoksiklav suspension (400mg+57mg)/5ml capacity 140ml as an antibiotic for tonsillitis. She has 22 kilograms, they didn't give us a prescription back and I don't remember the dosage whether 5ml×3 or 7mlx3 except that we have to take it for 7 days. What dose and how many times a day should I give my child?

The dosage of the antibiotic is determined by the doctor depending on the type of infection and the patient's condition. The standard dosage (for a patient weighing less than 40 kg) in the package leaflet is calculated according to the formula:
Recommended dosages:
from (25 mg + 3.6 mg)/kg/day to (45 mg + 6.4 mg)/kg/day in two doses
Divided.
For the treatment of certain infections (i.e. otitis intima and lower respiratory tract infections), doses up to (70 mg + 10 mg)/kg/day administered in two divided doses may be considered.
Due to the large differences between the approved doses, I suggest that you visit the doctor/clinic/pharmacy where the prescription was filled and ask for the exact data on the prescription.
On our website you can check the availability of the drug and make a reservation at the pharmacy:
During antibiotic therapy (and for some time after treatment), the child should be given probiotics to avoid gastrointestinal discomfort:
