Good morning! I take methotrexate, two days later I am supposed to take folic acid. I would like to ask if this is due to the fact that if I took this folic acid the next day or the same day, the drug would be worse absorbed? Can I safely take it while taking the medicine?

Taking folic acid reduces the risk of bothersome side effects, but the dose must be selected in such a way that it does not reduce the effectiveness of the therapy. For the same reason, folic acid must be administered at a later date.
