I have permanent atrial fibrillation. I take ISOPTIN 120 SR 2x a day. Can Nebicard replace Isoptin because it is a more modern drug and has fewer side effects?

Nebicard has a different mechanism of action than Isoptin SR and cannot be used interchangeably. Whether this drug would be suitable for your condition and whether it is possible to implement it should be decided by a doctor who is familiar with your health condition and treatment history in detail.
Isoptin SR is a drug intended for the treatment of hypertension, ischemic heart disease and angina. In addition, the drug can be used to treat cardiac arrhythmias (including atrial fibrillation). The preparation contains verapamil, which slows down the conduction of impulses in the heart muscle, thus preventing arrhythmias. In addition, the substance relaxes blood vessels and contributes to lowering blood pressure.
