Most painkillers are safe to take while using the Jazz Plus contraceptive pill, as long as you do not exceed the recommended dose.

However, concomitant use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen or diclofenac should be avoided as they may reduce the effectiveness of contraception.

Paracetamol is one of the safest options and can be used together with Yaz without any worries. Paracetamol does not interact with hormonal contraceptives and is safe at recommended doses, e.g.
