Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid (the active substances in Amoksiklav) reach peak blood concentrations after about 1 hour when taken orally. The drug is absorbed quickly and well.

Clarithromycin is also absorbed well and quickly. The maximum concentration in the blood is reached after approx. 2 - 3 hours. A list of preparations with clarithromycin can be found in the link:
