Good morning
I've been taking Atywie for 10 years, and after switching to single-ingredient pills, I got a lot of acne on my face, back and décolleté. So I'm going back to the two-component ones again - which pills will be the best to deal with the problem quickly? The doctor has re-prescribed Atywie, but I'm wondering if there are any better options. Dermatological treatment lasted 8 months with no results.

Unfortunately, patients using the contraceptive pill often experience worsening skin symptoms. The estrogens contained in combined contraceptive pills have a positive effect on reducing acne.
For this reason, in addition to its contraceptive effect, Atywia also has in its indications the treatment of moderate acne, which is why it is often prescribed by doctors. Atywia has a proven anti-acne effect.
When it comes to the choice of tablets, it is a very individual matter, because each body may react differently. If there were no problems during the treatment with Atywia, this is a good choice. I don't know the reason for switching to single-ingredient tablets.
It is important to keep in mind that any new drug may have side effects. It should also be remembered that the reduction of acne may be visible at the earliest after 3 months of regular use of Atywia.
