Can levofloxacin cause taste disturbances?
Hello
I was supposed to take levofloxacin for over 3 months.
Now I suffer from greatly altered senses of taste and smell of several foods:
such as eggs, onions, especially in combination with
Cream Dreesing, very strong with roasted onions, many types of sausages, even the delicious beer doesn't taste good to me anymore.
Who can help me ?

Dysgeusia is one of the side effects that has been reported with levofloxacin. Very rarely, long-term sensory disturbances m.in taste have been reported. For advice and possible treatment, please contact your doctor.
