Yes, Prolia is available to people aged 65+ free of charge for the following indications:
Postmenopausal osteoporosis (T-score less than or equal to -2.5 as measured by DXA or the occurrence of an osteoporotic fracture) in women over 60 years of age, after failure of treatment with oral bisphosphonates, or with contraindications (intolerance) to their use; Osteoporosis (T-score less than or equal to -2.5 as measured by DXA or the occurrence of an osteoporotic fracture) in men over 60 years of age, after failure of treatment with oral bisphosphonates or with contraindications (intolerance) to their use.
