Can severe swelling of the eyelids be the result of using eye drops? Monoprost ?

I'll take Monoprost 50 in the evening. Unfortunately, I have had severe swelling under my eyes for a few weeks now. Could this be a side effect of the eye drops?

The symptoms you mention may be a consequence of using Monoprost.
The most common side effects after their use include eye irritation, conjunctival hyperemia, inflammation and swelling of the eyelids, dry eye, sensation of a foreign body in the eye.
I would advise you to see your doctor and consult your symptoms. He or she may recommend that you switch to a different medication.
