Good morning, my 6 year old daughter has had a cough and runny nose since Wednesday. It was dry at first, but quickly turned wet. What syrup can I give her? I have levopront, flegamine, marshmallow syrup and Acodin. Today I took her for a short walk and noticed that in the open air there was no cough at all, but as soon as we entered the house the cough appeared again. Does this mean that it could be allergic?

If a wet cough occurs, you can use Phlegamine, which has an expectorant effect. The drug should be administered no later than 5 p.m. If the cough accompanies the child also at night, you can use a cough suppressant - Levopront - in the evening to calm the cough reflex. The severity of coughing in a room can result from several reasons and it is not always due to an allergy. In winter, during the heating season, the air in the apartment is dry and can further irritate the mucous membranes of the throat and nose. It is worth remembering to ventilate the rooms and humidify the air if necessary. You can also use inhalations that moisturize the mucous membranes of the throat and nose, e.g. with the use of Nebu-dose hyaluronic or Ectodose:

On our website, you can check the availability of medicines and make a reservation at a pharmacy, and in the case of over-the-counter preparations - an order with collection at the pharmacy or home delivery.
