What to do if a 3-year-old child has mistakenly swallowed Controloc 40 mg ?
A 3-year-old daughter accidentally swallowed the wrong pill, she swallowed controloc 40. Could something happen to her, do you have to go to the emergency room?

Any unprescribed medication is inadvisable, and mistakenly taking the medication by a child requires special attention. I would advise you to consult a paediatrician.
As I'm sure you know, Controloc is a drug from the group of PPIs, i.e. proton pump inhibitors, whose task is to inhibit the secretion of hydrochloric acid in gastric juice.
At a dose of 40 mg, it is indicated for children over 12 years of age and adults.
If a 3-year-old child takes the drug, side effects may occur. The most common are diarrhea, headaches, dizziness, rash. Please pay special attention to these symptoms.
