In the indications for the use of the drug, the manufacturer states:
AzitroLEK is indicated for the treatment of the following infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin:
-acute bacterial rhinosinusitis (properly diagnosed)
-acute bacterial otitis media (properly diagnosed)
- pharyngitis, tonsillitis;
- exacerbation of chronic bronchitis (properly diagnosed);
- mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia;
- infections of the skin and soft tissues;
- uncomplicated inflammation of the urethra and cervix caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
According to the available sources, it is not a drug indicated for use in gout.
