Mistakenly taking a medicine intended for another patient may result in side effects and interactions with other concomitant medicines. 40 mg is the maximum dose of Cital (one tablet contains 20 mg), which patients generally come to gradually if their condition requires it. If you experience any unusual or worrying symptoms after accidentally taking the medicine, you should seek medical help.
