Erlis 5 mg is usually given once a day, at approximately the same time of day. This use is recommended for patients who anticipate frequent use, i.e. at least twice a week. Your doctor may recommend periodic breaks to assess the advisability of taking the medicine on a once-daily regimen on a regular basis.
The 5 mg dose may be too low to be effective when taken only when needed.
