On the website of the National Blood Center there is information that: "Do not donate blood for the entire period of use of medications (other than vitamins, oral contraceptives and hormonal drugs used during menopause) and for some time after stopping taking them. Always ask your donor doctor how long you need to wait after stopping the medication, as medications have different durations of action."
