Is the expiry date extended due to the lack of availability of the drug in the pharmacy?

Hello, how long is a prescription for Flixotide 50 mcg inhalation spray valid for. Unfortunately, there are still shortages in pharmacies, if there are only 30 days, does such a prescription expire if I could not buy it due to the lack of medicine?

It depends on how long the doctor has issued your prescription for. You will be informed about the prescription by your pharmacist at the nearest pharmacy.

It is possible to prescribe a prescription with a prescription deadline of 30 days from the date of its issuance.

The second option is a "one-year" prescription, which can be filled within 365 days from the date of its issuance, but it is important that the first package of the prescription drug is purchased within the first 30 days of its issuance. If you do not meet this condition, the pharmacist will be forced to deduct the appropriate number of packets of the medicine and give you a reduced number of packs.

Unfortunately, in the case of drugs that are difficult to obtain, there is a problem. If the medicine is not available, the prescription will not be extended.
