Can I use Cefixime if I am allergic to Zinnat?
Good afternoon. If there was an allergy to zinnat (on the 3rd day, the soles of the feet itched). Can I take cefixime ? (Loprax)? Is this the same group of antibiotics? Thanks

Cefuroxime (Zinnat) and cefixime (Loprax) belong to the group of cephalosporins. Zinnat is a second-generation cellphalosine, a third-generation Loprax. It is possible that you will experience side effects similar to those seen when taking Zinnat when using Loprax.
