Intrarosa globules, like any drug, are tested for safety and effectiveness. Intrarosa contains dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), which is a precursor to sex hormones such as estrogen and testosterone. They are applied topically within the vagina and are designed to support local hormone production, improve lubrication and elasticity of the vaginal mucosa.
When used correctly, Intrarosa globules are typically considered safe because they act locally and a minimal amount of the active ingredient is absorbed into the bloodstream.
However, I do not find any information in the medical literature on flatulence. If you are concerned about the effects of the medicine, it is best to talk to your doctor, who is familiar with your health condition in detail.
