Hello, I've been wearing EVRA patches for a few months now. I always peel off the old one when I change the patch and I put the next one on right away. This time I peeled off the plaster and fell asleep. I woke up 8 hours later and immediately put on another one. So I didn't have a patch for 8 hours. Now (4 days after applying it) I got a very slight stain, almost imperceptible, but still. Could this mean that contraception is not working at this point?

Since the delay did not last more than 24 hours, protection is maintained at all times and there is no cause for concern. Slight spotting may be associated with an 8-hour delay or, for example, weakness of the body. However, it does not indicate a reduced contraceptive efficacy of the product.
