Laser hair removal for diabetes is not prohibited. Diabetes is not a direct contraindication to the procedure, but only if the patient has a normal glycemic level. Unbalanced sugar levels make it impossible to remove unwanted hair with a laser.

If your blood glucose levels are under control by taking Glucophage, this should not be a problem. However, I would advise you to mention your doubts during a consultation with a cosmetologist.

It should also be borne in mind that the disease can affect the healing process of the skin and increase the skin's sensitivity to pain. What's more, unpleasant complications can occur, such as skin infections.

For the procedure to be safe, the sugar level must be stabilized.
