What should I do if the result confirms reactive HCV after treatment with Maviret?

I did the test after the treatment. Result of reproducibly reactive hcv. Why????

I'm afraid I'll have to consult my doctor again.

According to the manufacturer:

"22 of the approximately 2300 adult patients treated with Maviret for 8, 12 or 16 weeks in the phase 2 and 3 clinical trials of the marketing clinical trials had virologic failure (2 genotype 1, 2 genotype 2, 18 genotype 3).
Of the two patients infected with genotype 1 virus who experienced virologic failure, one had treatment-induced A156V substitutions in NS3 and Q30R/L31M/H58D in NS5A, and one had Q30R/H58D substitution (Y93N substitution was present at baseline and after treatment) in NS5A."

According to the manufacturer, the drug is not effective in 100% of cases, so you should consult your doctor. The specialist will decide on the further course of treatment.
