Bitterness in the mouth is an ailment that can sometimes be experienced after gallbladder surgery. The feeling of bitterness in the mouth can sometimes be caused by reflux, i.e. regurgitation of intestinal or gastric contents into the esophagus.
I suggest following an easily digestible diet, consisting mainly of regular consumption of 4-5 meals a day with a small volume, avoiding fatty foods, strongly seasoned.
Sometimes pharmacological treatment is used with drugs from the group of proton pump inhibitors, reducing the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, e.g.

If the bitterness in the mouth is bothersome or persists for a long time, it is worth consulting a doctor to carefully assess the causes of this problem and determine appropriate steps to treat or alleviate it. This is especially advisable if you have symptoms such as anemia, lack of appetite, weight loss, abdominal pain or a change in the rhythm of bowel movements.
