Can I take Plaquenil if I had a dental implant a week ago?

Good morning. A month ago I had the surgical part of a tooth implant implanted in my mandible. From tomorrow I have to start taking Plaquenil 200 mg 1 per day prescribed by another doctor. Can this drug contribute to the rejection of a tooth implant in any way? Thank you in advance for your reply.

In the available materials I do not find information that having a dental implant is a contraindication to the use of Plaquenil and that this drug affects the implant. If you want to know if Plaquenil can be used after you have had the surgical part of the implant in your jaw, it is best to talk to your doctor or clinic where the procedure was performed.
