On the website of the Office for Registration of Medicines there is information that due to the very high interest in Saxenda, there may be temporary and local difficulties in accessing the drug. Therefore, Polish representative of the Marketing Authorisation Holder, Novo Nordisk A/S, in consultation with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and URPLWMiPB, asks doctors to consider: - prioritising patients who are currently receiving anti-obesity pharmacotherapy with Saxenda to increase the chances of accessing treatment already started and possibly ensuring continuity of care - stop the initiation of new Saxenda therapies in patients, who have not used anti-obesity therapy so far.
