Can I buy 1 pack of 28 tablets and 1 pack of 14 tablets instead of 1 pack of 42 tablets of Xifaxan?

I have a prescription for Xifaxan 42 tab., which is not available in any of the pharmacies, is it possible for a pharmacist to sell a pack of 28+14 ?

In the case of a prescription written for Xifaxan 1 pack of 42 tablets has no contraindications to dispense 1 pack of 28 tablets and 1 pack of 14 tablets. The issuance of smaller packages ensures that the patient obtains all the tablets necessary to carry out the prescribed treatment.
