I struggle with vaginal atrophy before my period, it affects only the labia. The doctor prescribed me Oekolp ointment, but only for external use. My question is: can I use less than half of the applicator to lubricate the labia? Will the ointment then be effective?

Oekolp cream should be used according to the dosage determined by the doctor. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the recommended doses range from 0.5mg of estriol to 1mg vaginally, i.e. from half of the applicator to its entire volume. Alternatively, if the cream is applied externally, apply the appropriate amount of product, i.e. one that is sufficient to cover a thin layer of the entire area on which it is to be applied. Through Gdziepolek it is possible to book Oekolp cream in a selected pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/55771/oekolp-krem/apteki If you need a consultation with a doctor, I leave a link through which you can use the teleconsultation: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
