Leflunomide is a medicine used to treat certain types of inflammatory joint diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. High heart rate (tachycardia) is not one of the typical side effects of leflunomide. However, leflunomide may cause some side effects that may affect the cardiovascular system, such as hypertension.
