Hello. I got in the pharmacy straight gyvenol ointment and hygiene liquid for an 8-year-old for a strong pinching of the anus through the fissure. On the leaflet it is written not to use in children. Is it a dangerous measure for an 8-year-old?

If the doctor has experience in this type of therapy and has recommended the use of Procto-Glyvenol cream in an 8-year-old child - please follow the recommendations of a specialist. In general, it should be remembered that children do not have hemorrhoidal disease or are very rare, therefore there are no studies on the safety and effectiveness of this type of products in children - hence the lack of information on the possibility of using the drug in the child.
