As recommended in the Summary of Product Characteristics, Itax should be used at a dose of 200 mg for 7 days for the treatment of pityriasis versicolor. The doctor, based on his knowledge, experience and the patient's state of health, may recommend taking medication in a different way than the generally accepted one.
