It is important that before undergoing any aesthetic medicine procedure, such as Botox or tissue stimulants, you inform your doctor about any medications, supplements or other treatments that you are currently using. This includes doxycycline or any other antibiotics. Doxycycline, as an antibiotic, has its own effects and potential side effects. It is not widely known that doxycycline has a direct effect on the efficacy or safety of Botox. However, it is important for your doctor to assess your individual situation and decide whether Botox is suitable in combination with doxycycline.
